The ideal time for a 3D ultrasound is typically between 24 and 32 weeks of pregnancy. During this time, your baby has developed enough fat to make their facial features more visible, but there’s still enough room in the womb to capture clear, beautiful images. While you can still schedule a session outside this window, earlier scans may show less detail, and after 32 weeks, space in the womb may limit visibility.
